I liked this place till I was prescribed a medication that cost almost $300/mo. My insurance doesn't pay for this and after a lot of searching I was given a number from one of the office personnel and was told they may be able to help me. So I called got all the required paper work and when I askedy doctor to fill it out ... month or so later I was finally told by someone else in the office that the doctors and medical directors REFUSED to fill it out. How is it a doctor can tell you that you need a medication knowing how expensive it is and then refuse to help you obtain it. All i needed was one piece of paper that basically said they were giving me the medication and this is why. Why would a doctor not do what was possible to help their patient. I cried out of desperation anger and brokenness at the fact that I felt like my life was Falling apart around me and the person who could help refused. They don't care about you as a patient. Im looking for a new doctor as I speak.

To start off, the people that work in the front office seem to be to busy to talk with you about appointments. They make them, I was assured they would send a reminder call and never got any. Had 2 appointments scheduled. Showed up for both and was told it wasn't the correct day. I had put them in my phone as they were made in person with the people at the front desk. They said they had sent out a letter. None was received.

Mr. West, the APRN in charge of the meds, has always called my meds in on time and listened to any feedback I've had. When he suggested something I didn't want to try since it's known for hardcore withdrawal symptoms, he listened to me and didn't prescribe it. He's quickly written a letter of recommendation for my insurance, and all of the meds I've been given can be gotten for $4 or $10 generic at Walmart. To anyone struggling with med costs that can't get things generic, look at the GoodRX app or website, which will get you a discount on meds at certain places, usually pretty hefty. You can also contact the company that makes the drug directly, and ask if they have a patient giving program.

The doctor seemed to be full of himself. I think he needs training for ADHD people because he acts like he has no clue what to do. They have no behavior therapy to go along with treating kids with ADHA, nor do they attempt to help the family deal with this kind of coping. The doctor is very arrogant and demeaning. I feel very sorry for anyone that goes there for help. They do not care and as far as I am concerned, they are just sitting in the office collecting a pay check. Something needs to be done about this place. They do not care.

Daysprings started out really good a few years ago and then went downhill in my opinion. A red flag to me was when I was trying to obtain the treatment plan for my son and filled out and faxed a ROI and legal guardianship to them and they still wouldn't release the information and I had to argue with them over the phone to send it. After they sent it, they said it was a lot of trouble. Something is wrong with this picture. Cole the supervisor was the one who wouldn't send it. Said I had to pay for it and come into the office or I wasn't getting it. When I got someone else to help me obtain it, they sent it, but very unwillingly.

Everyone has different experiences I guess, but my experience here was nothing but good. The wait times are long sometimes but that's all I can complain about, and it's no worse than a normal medical office (I've been to more upscale psych clinics that were way worse on the wait-time in-office, as well as having to book appointments months in advance).

The therapists here have been great, both the interns and the permanent staff. The front office has been reliable for me as well. Give it a try if you need mental health services, the worst that will happen is that it won't serve your needs and you can move on

So I called in today to talk to someone because I am depressed and very emotional and all they told me was someone would call me back and that was like 3 hours ago. I am losing my mind and it seems they don't care
