The two women that run Winterberry Home rude and snobby. I have been in several times and every time they have followed me around the store like I'm trying to steal something!! The first couple of times I gave them the benefit of the doubt and thought it may just be a fluke. Then I brought my daughter in to pick her out a gift and they hovered over her. When she went to pick up a stuffed animal they told her not to touch it, they had "special" ones that could be touched or "petted". I DO NOT let my child wander in stores so it wasn't like I wasn't standing right next to her!! And she knows better than to touch anything breakable. Why in the world would you have a store with toys and not want a child to go near them?! I am an upper middle class woman who has taught my children to always use their manners, at home and especially in public. And obviously these two women were never trained in this skill! I will not ever go to Winterberry Home again and will definitely share my experience with everyone I know.
