This place just got a lot better! I friend told us that they renovated the place recently and they definitely did. The lobby area still looks the same for the most part, but now there are electric reclining leather seats in the theaters. That was actually a first for me. I was also told that they are in the process of getting their liquor license. So pretty soon Rogers might have a full service movie theater. I will definitely start seeing more movies there.
We appreciate the reclining seats and food choices, but the closed captioning devices only work about 60% of the time. You have to find an employee who understands the system and have them reboot the server upstairs. Then it works great. Unfortunately, you won't know if the device doesn't work until the feature presentation starts, as all commercials and most previews do not have closed captioning (yet).
Under construction...otherwise 3 star. Pretty decent sound. Stadium seating, seats feel old. 3D glasses were all rim and little lenses. The workers are polite and theatre was clean. Rogers splits blockbusters between 2 theatres but unless they have your must see movie I'd recommend pinnacle hills for now.
The Malco theater in Rogers is a good theater. It has a modern vibe and looks great. It is generally clean. They also have the reclining leather seats. This is both a pro and a con. It feels great, but you have to get there very soon to have a good seat. Another con is that If you are in a big group it is very hard to get a seat. They also don't show all movies here which is a con.
*edit... construction complete in the thing this theater has the gives it a leg up on Pinnacle Hills is the all recliner seating arrangement! Also perhaps liquor sales.
Had heard they had recently remodeled, so we came to see. Absolutely loved it! The popcorn was not so good, but the grill food was great. The Greek salad was phenomenal, lots of flavor. The burger and fries were also great. To top it off reclining seats, also giving you more room between you and your neighbors but also the row in front of you.
