Yem has done my nails for several years and never disappoints!
I have been going to Bella Mia for tanning for almost a year. In that time I went from doing 20 minute sessions every other day to 40 minutes once or twice a week because color became less important to me than the actual experience. I have terrible anxiety, and in the past months I've come to rely on my "chill time" in the tanning bed. I asked the girl at the counter if it was okay to do so and she said yes, and even made it sound like some people went longer than that. In that whole year not once did the owner tell me anything different, in fact she would greet me as I came in and say goodbye to me as I left. I thought things were pretty good.
Great job girls!!
I show up for my session one day last week and there is a note attached to the sign-in sheet saying that I (and a few others) had gone over on our tans and that tanning for more than 20 minutes was considered theft. The owner was at the counter and when I offered to pay up on the tans I had unknowingly gone over she pulls out my card and finds that I still had four stamps left!!!! I tried to explain to her that I would never steal from her and she didn't seem interested in the conversation at all. The whole experience was embarrassing and I will NOT be going back.
Sara does my hair and does a wonderful job keeping up with my ever changing short hair styles!
They seemed to have repeat customers there, but if you're not one to speak up and demand to get what you feel you should get, you should probably avoid this place so you don't spend $30 to be a door mat.
They are undergoing a facelift inside right now and are still very accommodating amongst all the building chaos. In excited to see the finished product :)
Went there due to seeing some good reviews. I don't know if most of the girls that cut hair there are like this, but mine was terrible. She was a good 15 minutes late, and then spent forever long in the back before coming out. She didn't really apologize, but only gave excuses. I wouldn't have cared as I had a pretty open day, but I guess she had another appointment because she rushed through mine. I have long thick hair and she told me that dry cut is the best for my kind of hair. I shouldn't have believed her because of past experiences, but I went with it. Less than an hour and out of $30 later, I had a choppy hair cut that was not even and bangs that looked like lifeless and self cut by a five year old and was being pushed out the door. I didn't realize it till I was driving home, but she didn't even give me a mirror to look at the back of it (I have a feeling she did this on purpose as it clearly just looked choppy). I know part of this is my fault as I tend not to be assertive. I should have insisted she washed my hair first and cut it wet because that is the only way to cut hair like mine. I thought about going back and asked her to fix it for free, but then I'd be putting myself under the will of her scissors again.
Then I get a surprise.
