WORST GROOMING EVER! We travel for work with our beloved Cairn terrier. Made an appointment with Chris for a winter clip and specifically requested she NOT scalp him. He is in his double-digit years and all we needed was some trimming around his face/ears with nails clipped...even sent her a picture of what a Cairn should look like. She stated she would NOT take off much fur (he really needs it now the weather is turning much cooler). What we got back was shocking - I nearly cried. Our precious little man had literally been SHAVED - BADLY SHAVED! NO ATTEMPT TO GROOM AT ALL!!!!! Our poor fur baby is now practically bald for the coming cold winter weather. HORRIBLE! I could have bought a Wahl clipper and done a much better job myself. When my husband pointed out this is NOT WHAT WE HIRED her to do, SHE TOOK NO RESPONSIBILITY whatsoever. We were even concerned she'd cut him with clippers...that's how close she shaved him. Sorry for this veterinary clinic. It is probably a fine place medically. No matter - we will not be back. Our bald little baby now has a selection of sweaters from Amazon (they delivered quickly which was a blessing). As an RN, I take special care with our eleven-year old fur baby. STEER CLEAR of having Chris groom your dog!!!!!!! She should be ashamed.
We have tried several other places in Northwest Arkansas. They are by far the best overall. They have the best care, they love your pet as their own, they check your pet as if your dog or cat is there for a vet visit, and they have great prices. My dogs are always so happy when we pick them up they seem like they don't even want to come home. I highly recommend the people at Prairie Creek.
They have been great to work with and my dog has received excellent care. I would highly recommend them to anyone!
This vet office needs better customer service. The vet himself is a wonderful person, however a couple of his front desk workers need a lesson in customer service. I'm from out of town for a few he in the family. My vet called in a prescription for my little dogs heart medicine to have filled. Instead of helping in an emergency situation, they chose not to and told me I needed to bring the dog in for a visit first.
