Good place for family's outing. enjoy all the day . Have shelters to sit and eat, volleyball court, specific place to swim in the lake, parking. you gave to pay $5 fir entrance.

I am only giving it a 4 because I was not a fan of the bathrooms. Call me spoiled but I've been to other campsites that are more rural that have actual toilets. I ended up climbing down the bluffs to pee because that was better for me and my bottom. BUT that's my only complaint. Everything was great there, it was beautiful, our campsite 094 was exactly what we expected, the staff was very friendly and helpful and our neighbors were wonderful when we met them. The campsites are nicely spread out so you can have privacy and there are tons and tons of trees. We cooked our own food so not sure how the restaurants are around there. The gas station to get firewood and drink mixers is only 5 minute drive.

Me and another person wanted to stay at this campground as we were coming back to AR from a cross country trip and needed somewhere close to Bentonville. Because we would be staying after a 10+ hour driving day, I didn't want to risk not having a spot and reserved a site (Keep in mind that we tent camped) - that alone was a 10 dollar charge on top of the 19 dollar site charge which made it the most expensive campsite of the ENTIRE trip. We stayed in campsite 107 which I believe was the only dedicated tent site. It came with electricity a picnic table and a grill. What it did not come with was a flat spot for a tent or soft enough ground to drive stakes. Now normally this isn't that big of a deal but we got hit by a nasty July monsoon and all of our stuff got soaked due to not having the rainfly staked down properly. There wasn't a place to park my car so I just parked in the road and hoped no one needed to use it. The site itself was right next to the marina. Convenient if you have a boat, annoying if you want to sleep in past 7am. The toilets were not in great condition and were pit toilets - not something I expected for 20 bucks a night. I would have gladly traded our electricity for flush toilets. If I were in an RV this campsite would have been more tolerable or even enjoyable but avoid it if you're in a tent. There's a lot of good NFS sites that are free if you're willing to drive out a bit further.

This a beautiful Ozark campground, with huge trees, deer, and lots of squirrels. We camped in our large tent trailer in spot #093 over Labor Day weekend. The spot was deep enough to get my pickup out of the road after the trailer was opened up, it had quite a slope to it, and was difficult to back into, as it was at a 90 degree angle to the road. We did have plenty of room around us, and did not feel like we were right on top of the neighbors. There was electricity, a concrete picnic table, and a level chip graveled pad for a tent or canopy within our spot. The "shared" water is an overstatement. The loop we were in had zero access to a spigot, in fact, I'm not sure where you would get water at this campground. Thankfully we had filled our holding tank and cassette toilet prior to arriving. For the hundred plus campsites there are 3 shower stalls total, one of which was out of order. I'm assuming the women's side had 3 as well. The shower floor was not sloped for drainage, so you are wading around in a puddle when entering - bring your shower shoes! The park attendant upon check-in was friendly, but the other one on the golf cart that I crossed paths with was not. Overall, we would return, just beware that you need to bring in your own water.

For as expensive as it is to camp here, the campground folks at the booth and on the golf carts could be a little more friendly. If they are that unhappy with their jobs then find some younger people who can appreciate the opportunity that they have. Maybe if they had locals running it then it would seem a lot more welcoming. I think that the work may a little more than these senior citizens can handle with are Arkansas heat.
