My husband and I found a car listing on Craigslist under 'by owner' (NOT 'by dealer') and texted asking if they could meet us halfway (Springdale). The responses were half-incoherent, claiming he 'wasn't that desperate' and called my husband 'an Arab who just wastes my time' (we happen to be white). I texted him myself pretending to be interested in the car, and after a dragged-out and half-unreadable conversation, found out his name is Diego and he works for K&A. He was also controlling and nosy, repeatedly checking in to make sure I was on my way. I eventually told him that we don't shop with bigots.
